Drinks and Memories

In a very simple way, to me, drinks record important moments in our life. 

I remember, one day I went to a beach while drinking sea-salt flavored drink. The beach was very beautiful and I thought I won’t come here again anytime soon. I record the scenery with my eyes and memory, while drinking the sea-salt drinks. Each gulp keeps a moment. How I found serenity in this place, how I want to stay a little longer, how I want to come here someday with someone I love and spend time here. The flavor recorded what I feel at that very moment. So, when I miss being there, I’m just gonna go to the near convenience store and buy the same drinks to fulfill my longing.

I’m always excited every time I see a drinks corner in the convenience store. It’s like a collection of flavors from several moments and feelings in my life. I went through a few moments in my life with certain flavor. The taste of happiness at the beach is sea-salt. The taste of the time I spent with my close friend at our usual café is ice tea and green tea latte. The taste of bitter-sweet memories with someone dear to me, is strawberry milk. And many more.

It’s more than a drink, a flavor. It’s fulfill both of your thirst, and your longing for moments and someone you missed so much.
